Mr. Shuffles

Nicely done, nicely done! Old people shuffling around can be an easy ‘target’ for grumpy, short sighted youngsters, but some of ’em had quite a time of it way back when they were the grumpy youngsters.
One of the old shufflers in Opotiki, recently deceased, was a radio engineer, and had worked on every single continent in the entire world, including Antarctica. He had seen more than most could comprehend, and in his ‘golden years’, had become quite quiet and reserved. It took quite a bit of engagement to get him to open up and tell stories, but he had enough for several lifetimes!
